Polka dots are a classic neutral now - they always seem to be available in one guise or another each season. I have collected a few polka dot items over the past few years and still wear each and every one of them. Sometimes I dress them up with a heel and fun clutch, other times ( as today) I wear them with trainers or espadrilles for a more relaxed look. Whatever your preferred style, make sure you buy at least one polka dot piece for your wardrobe. It will be a hero item for many seasons to come.
Today I have focused on polka dot dresses. Dresses that will be great for Summer, maybe with a denim jacket if the day/evening is chilly or for Winter with a sweater worn over.

Okay, so I know this is not a dress but it can be worn pretty much for any occasion, the good old jumpsuit.
This loose fit, easy to wear midi is perfect for long summer days, as a dress or a beach cover up.

This insta-famous polka dot dress is still available from Next. I bought the navy star version and would definitely recommend.
This Boden dress is just that little bit different, and could be worn with skinny jeans if you aren't keen to get your knees out.
Back to glam now, but this dress would look equally as good with trainers or sandals.

I've gone up a few notches on the price with this Whistles dress, but the quality will be excellent and will last for years to come.
I love the contrast front and back on this dress - a touch of Rixo at a fraction of the price - I've yet to try it but I will be doing soon.
I love the look of this dress but am not sure if the high neck would bother me on a warm summer day.
