Yes, I've finally got round to it - my very first Outfit of the Day Post!
This is actually what I am wearing today on this gloriously sunny Autumn day as I type, first this post and then my very first assignment for my Early Years Teacher Course which I started a few weeks ago (feeling nervous on this one so writing this post has provided a welcome distraction).

The outfit I'm wearing was put together last Autumn/Winter after much browsing and budgeting. I don't have oodles of cash to spend on new outfits so prefer to make careful purchases within budget , often opting for secondhand luxe pieces from Ebay,Vestiaire Collective or my local Dress Agency to give my wardrobe a boost.
I am particularly pleased with these black Karen Millen trousers which were a £15 bargain from Ebay - I wore them several times last Winter but found the high waist more than a little restrictive. This year however after following a strict, no carb lifestyle change (diet!), I can wear them comfortably without a huge bulge of white flesh hanging over the top. Result!

Similar pieces to those that I'm wearing can be found anywhere on the High Street, from the great value, on-trend  Primark and New Look to the higher-end luxe stores such as Jigsaw and Whistles (this is about as far as I go unless a real bargain pops up on the Outnet or Net-a-Porter).
Here's an example:

Outfit of the Day 1
Jumper:Whistles Mohair Blend Funnel Neck Knit
Trousers: Karen Millen Tailored Tuxedo Trousers
Sunglasses: ASOS Rounded Wayfarer Glasses (only £6!)
Bag: F&F Fringed Cross Body Bag (only £14!)

Thanks to my 8 year old for taking the pic this morning,

Now where's that assignment...

Sue xx
