Trend Watch Autumn/Winter '17 - Polka Dots

Polka dots are a wardrobe classic and whilst they never go out of fashion they sometimes do take a back seat.  

However this year were truly resurrected, taking a main role on the Autumn/Winter catwalks where they were paired with intricate pleats and ruffles and made super-sized in monochrome. 

They are now seen scattered throughout the High Street, my edit of which follows after the usual Pinterest inspiration...

I popped on a denim jacket for the school run and the walk to work, keeping my fingers crossed that I wouldn't get drenched!
