Chunky Monkeys

I love that chunky boots have become a trend again (I do remember more than a few years ago that monkey boots were the thing to wear - my mum had a pair.  They looked like this 

)

Swiftly back to the present and here's this week's inspiration:

My personal chunky boot collection is somewhat limited, so I am always on the lookout for new additions, ones that will last and last, and be a well-loved piece in my shoe-drobe for many years to come. So I personally am focusing on quality while I search - these may carry a higher price point, but the cost per wear will reduce to minus figures over the years - fashion maths!  NB: These browsings include all price points.

After all that browsing, I'm now thinking how similar all these boots are! With only 3 being a colour other than black, and most having a buckle or other trim.  So,before making a choice I would suggest trying on a few pairs with outfits you already own, and looking carefully at the styling and the details of the boots to see which pair will complement your wardrobe best, to suit your individual style.
