Party Edit

I've had such a fab week browsing all things PARTY as I researched this post and am so excited to bring this edit to you!

As Christmas comes ever nearer it is important for us to remember to treat ourselves to a new outfit/piece or two to really get us in the party mood. So here goes.

This week's inspiration:

Inspo over, lets fall straight into the pieces that you can buy now!  As always, all price points are covered!  This is a real mix of pieces, as I've added them in as and when I have spotted them, throughout the week - but I can honestly say that I would definitely find a place for all of them in my wardrobe, given the chance!

I haven't worn a mini dress for a very long time, but I think this one would work well with opaque tights and chunky ankle boots, with a black faux fur coat over the top.

Ahh Sezane - they bring out a collection every few months and each piece is to die for!  I generally have a piece or two in my basket, but rarely press buy.  These trousers are going straight into my basket now!  I love the styling on the pic too.

Sequinned Velvet Dress £49.99

Velvet AND sequins - what more could a girl ask for at this time of year?  Again the mini style needs some opaque tights in my book and to be finished off with a chunky boot or heel.

Mint Velvet Phillippa Midi Skirt

Okay, so the styling on this picture isn't the best either for Summer or Winter.
I love the colour though, and of course the print. I would choose knee high boots and a black cashmere sweater to team it with.

Mango Faux Fur Coat in Green
How versatile is this faux fur coat?  I love it dressed down with a hoodie and jeans as styled here, but it would also be brilliant thrown over a party outfit to keep out the chill.  Plus the colour is just a fab alternative to the usual black. Yes please!
H&M Black Glittery Jumpsuit
Jumpsuits are my thing!  And a sparkly one, definitely!
Zara Blue Velvet Trousers
I love velvet, but usually opt for safe black, so these blue velvet trousers really caught my eye!  A matching top is also available - or wear with a tee or white shirt to ring the changes.

Zara Combined Feather Effect Jumpsuit
Feathers are IN this season - I'll be pulling a feather trimmed top out of my wardrobe - but could also be tempted to buy this amazing jumpsuit! I'll be wearing with a heeled party shoe, but ballet flats would work just as well!

Zara Metallic Thread Dress
Elegant and easy to wear with heels or ankle boots - dress up or down - throw a sweater over the top and add opaques.  Perfect.
Zara Sequinned Midi Skirt
I adore the colours on this sequin skirt.  Match with a knit or white shirt,  and wear your favourite party shoes, boots or trainers, dependent on your venue/mood. Done!

Tulle Sleeve Top Zara
More elegance from Zara.  Perfect to dress up a pair of jeans for a more casual outfit with an edge.
Zara padded rhinestone headband
THE accessory of the season.  I'm not sure if this trend is for me, but it's definitely worth a try as they look fab!
Zara Shimmery Velvet Dress
More velvet and shimmer - what's not to like? Love the addition of the sparkly buckle too.
Zara Sequin Leggings
I'd wear these sequin pants with a cosy knit and trainers to give them a casual edge for the day time.
M&S Velvet Jacket
Loving the colour of this velvet jacket, plus there are matching trousers too. A fab mix and match piece.

Warehouse Metallic Glitter Polo Neck
A winter basic to wear with jeans, to the office or to a party. Perfecto!

Wallis Sequin Midi Dress
You don't often come across sequin dresses in midi length so this is well worth a try.
Wallis have some amazing pieces in this season and lots of them are discounted too!

Cos Feathered Wrap Skirt
I adore this skirt and its actually navy, rather than black. Maybe that will swing it for me?! Love it with these knee high boots too.
Sister Jane Shooting Star Sequin Dress
 Just gorgeous!

Warehouse Tiered Dress
Oh wow, a red floaty number, it's available in green too..
Warehouse long faux fur coat
Like my short trucker jacket, but longer! A fab cover up for day or night.
Topshop Black Lace Dress
The styling in the pic needs work but the dress would be fab with a black under slip, opaques and chunky ankle boots.

Mint Velvet Black Leopard Slip Dress
Its hard to see the print detail here but it's a subtle leopard print. Throw over a cardigan or sweater and you're good to go.
Mint Velvet Grey Shimmer Skirt
I'm loving the metallic effect. Great for day or night. With knee high boots, definitely.
Mint Velvet Black and Gold Spot Shirt
Another perfect way to dress up jeans this Christmas.
Mint Velvet Black Fringe Midi Skirt
Loving the fringe on this one. Just gorgeous.
Mint Velvet Green Satin Top
A fab piece to have in your wardrobe to pull out for smart or casual outfits.
H&M V Neck Tulle Dress
Wear this on it's own as a straightforward dress, or my preference would be to layer it with a sparkly top like the warehouse one above, and wear with opaques and heeled boot.

I hope you enjoyed that quick browse through my party faves.  There may have to be a party edit part II - as I keep spotting more gorgeous pieces , such as thisthisthis and this..

See you next week
