Sales Edit: Boden Sale Picks

Woohoo!  It's Boden Sale time.  Lots of bargains to be had for this season and next.  The one thing you can always rely on Boden for is quality, so quality at 50% of the usual price is not to be missed. Let's dive in Ladies! (Remember this is by no means a comprehensive list, there are lots of other bargains to be had, these are just my personal selection)

If I hadn't already purchased a couple of Summer dresses already this year, or if I had a Summer wedding/garden party to attend I would be sorely tempted by these.  They would be a fantastic addition to a Summer wardrobe and would not date so could be worn year after year.  I am loving the two shades of green on the Swishy Dress and the Eva Dress; and the Hattie Dress reminds me of Summer Beach holidays.  The Breezy Emma Dress would be great as a Beach cover up or to wear for a spot of sightseeing with flats and the St Lucia Halterneck would be perfect for day or night with flats or heels. I included the Geo Print dress as I love its pop of colour and with its button up front it would double as a beach cover up as well as a day dress.

I am impressed with the range of tops in the Boden sale (There are lots of others including plain and patterned tees and striped Bretons.)  The Leila Top (above) reminds me of a Mango top I purchased last year which also has the Isabel Marant style frills to the sleeves. The frill detail makes a plain t-shirt just that little bit different and peps up an otherwise plain outfit. I have been looking for a long sleeve white cotton shirt for a while and have tried a few without success, but this one looks like it may be the one for me, especially at £19.50.  The blue and white of the Corsica Kaftan is perfect for a Summer Beach holiday cover up and the detail on the Abigail Top is just gorgeous - imagine how lovely it would look styled with denim cut-offs.  The Evelyn Shirt evokes the 1950's with its tie front and would look great with capri pants or shorts (not sure it would suit me though unless styled with a high waisted pair to keep my tummy in check!)

Following on from my Jumpsuit posts last week I just had to include this All-in-one which is also available in navy, and this statement Bomber Jacket both of which would be great additions to a Summer wardrobe.  The Metallic Tasselled Loafers would look fabulous with shorts, jeans, skirts or dresses as would the Tan Wedges if you prefer a higher heel.  I recently bought a Whistles frayed Denim Jacket and have worn it loads, so to have a similar jacket in white would be great to even out the wear and tear and ring the changes now and then....it's on the Wishlist!
