Pompoms and Tassels

Some of you may have had a sneak preview of this post on Wednesday when I got click-happy and published it before it was finished, but this one includes some words from me and full details on where you can purchase. On with the finished post now..
I don't know about you but I am loving the pom pom, tassel and fringe embellishments this season, so much so that I have decided to dedicate this post to them..

I spied the Pom Pepita tote a few weeks back on Little Spree and fell in love with it.  I haven't actually purchased it but I keep visiting it every few days on Anthropologie just to say hello! I can't quite convince myself that I need another straw tote as I have a lovely H&M one from last year..will have to think about it for a bit longer...

The Hush clutch bag is just divine and is very much like this one from Sophie Anderson but without the £200+ price tag. It will look fabulous with a black kaftan such as this Hush one, or just with a peasant blouse and denims.

The Monsoon Balearic Embroidered Kimono is part of their White Isle collection and is perfect for a beach cover up or paired up with denim shorts for laid-back chic.  And the Monsoon Tamara Longline top just oozes chic-ness either on the beach, by the pool or out for a relaxed dinner with the family.

There are plenty of tassel accessories available this season too, and the earrings and necklace featured here are two of my favourites.  They add instant colour and vibe to the plainest of outfits - think a plain white tee with blue jeans or shorts - add the earrings or the necklace (don't wear both at once!) and your outfit has an instant hit of colour and pzazz for only £12.50 each. I have a pair of black tassel earrings which I bought last year in the J Crew sale and I love wearing them to add an extra something to outfits.

I have a similar pair of tassel sandals to these tan Accessorize ones which I have had for 3 or 4 years.  Mine were from Boden and I love wearing them and am so glad to see them back on trend this season.
